🔴⚪️ U12 SOUTH FINAL⚪️🔴

Heartbreak for our U12s yesterday as a late goal and point saw Newcastle take the South Final.

The boys are understandably devastated, but when the disappointment settles they should be incredibly proud of what they've achieved.

Every single one of this team is underage again next year, while some of the U10s who made the panel still have another three years at this grade.

For a team this young to reach a South Final is a huge achievement and says an awful lot about this group. Their work rate, tenacity and will to win have developed enormously through the work being done with their coaches at training.

The progress is really starting to show.

Watching these young players develop has been a joy, and if they're already competing in finals at this age, we can't wait to see what they can do as the group grows together and comes fully up to age.

Yesterday hurt, and that's because it mattered to them. But there is an awful lot to be proud of and an awful lot to look forward to with this group.

Fair play to every player and coach for the effort and commitment they've put in. These teams are developing into something very special. 👏🔴⚪️
