Club Notes 26/02/2024
County Hurling and Football League divisions and groups were announced over the weekend.
Our intermediates will be taking on Ballinahinch, Arravale Rovers, Grangemockler/Ballyneale, Moyle Rovers and St Patricks in their hurling group.
They will be up against Ballylooby Castlegrace, Fr Sheehys, Cappawhite, Killenaule and Newcastle in their football group.
Best of luck to the players and management team!
Carrick Davins would like to send its heart felt condolences to the McGrath family, Collins Park and formerly Treacy Park, on the death of Jim.
Jim was a life long supporter of the club along with all his family. He was always a familiar and friendly face at the field, be it matches or just training. As a young lad he was familiar to our players as he would accompany his father who would drive players to games, inter county training and at times to Mr Bolger, the dreaded bone setter!
That family connection is still with us today as his grandson Jamie wears the red and white.
To all his family, extended family and friends, we extend our deepest sympathies. Another one lost but will forever remain in our memories.
Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
All of us in the club would like to send our best wishes to Paddy Nagle, who is currently in hospital.
